Shepherd has hired one.

Anonymous said...

Where did Shepherd hire from?

Anonymous said...

Shepherd's hire is from Vanderbilt

Anonymous said...

Shepherd's chambers reports that all 08-09 clerkship positions are filled.

Anonymous said...

I've heard that Bright has hired at least one clerk. From the University of Minnesota.

Anonymous said...

Shepherd has one from Harvard, I believe.

Anonymous said...

Judge Magill is retiring -- totally -- at the end of this month and is not hiring any more clerks. Not everyone has gotten the message.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know anything about Colloton?

Anonymous said...

Shepard is done.

Anonymous said...

It sounds to me like Shepherd either (a) convinced his '07 clerks to stay on another year, or (b) hired a bunch of grads.

Anonymous said...

Bright hired from Notre Dame.

Anonymous said...

In addition to the one from Minnesota? So Bright has 2 then now?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Judge Murphy hired from Yale and Northwestern in this cycle.

Anonymous said...

Anybody get an offer from Melloy?

Anonymous said...

Loken is making offers

Anonymous said...

Gibson (Sr. Judge) has finished hiring. One clerk from Northwestern; one possibly from Missouri (can anyone confirm?).

Anonymous said...

As usual, Melloy has hired two clerks from Iowa. Also Colloton is done and at least one is from Iowa.

Anonymous said...

Loken is done. He hired one Harvard, one Yale, one Columbia, and one Georgetown. All are MN natives.

Anonymous said...

Gruender called today.

Anonymous said...

Any word on judges hiring anyone from William and Mary?

Anonymous said...

Any word on the Little Rock judges Arnold and Smith?

Anonymous said...

Judge Bye has extended at least one offer.

Anonymous said...

Benton e-mailed applicants to inform them he had concluded hiring.

Anonymous said...

Did Gruender call with offers or for interviews on the 25th?

Anonymous said...

Does anyone have any idea what is happening with Arnold and L. Smith?

Anonymous said...

I heard that Arnold would be waiting.

Anonymous said...

Any idea of when Smith and Arnold are wait until?

Anonymous said...

Just got word from a classmate --

Gruender is done. He just hired a 3L from HLS to go along with his 3Ls from Chicago and Michigan State. (Yes, Michigan *State*.)

And one of his current (07-08) clerks will stay on for a second year, thus rounding out his staff.

Anonymous said...

Beam has hired a University of Richmond 3L.

Anonymous said...

This is 10/2, 1:48 here. Just to clarify, I did not put the emphasis on Michigan *State* out of some sense of elitism or counter-elitism. Rather, I just wanted to make clear that Gruender did not hire some damn dirty Wolverine.

Go Green!

Bye appears to be done

Anonymous said...

Well, whoever Bye hired had better bring a warm hat and coat with them to Fargo!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Any news on the Little Rock judges Arnold and Smith?

Anonymous said...

Riley is done. He hired two from Nebraska and one from Creighton.

Anonymous said...

What about L. Smith and M. Arnold in Little Rock?

Anonymous said...

Arnold's chambers reports that he may not hire anyone.

Anonymous said...

So, does L. Smith (Ark) still have spots?

Anonymous said...

L. Smith is done per OSCAR.
