Any word on the SJC?

Anonymous said...

I haven't heard anything yet.

Any word from Mass App?

Anonymous said...

Still nothing from the SJC???

I spoke with someone there last week who said that the administrative staff was still screening applications. The applications that make it through that process are then given to the Justices. The Justices then select applicants for interviews from that pool in order of seniority, beginning with the Chief Justice.

Marshall has interviewed. I have no information about the others.

the appellate court is interviewing

Anything from other SJC justices?

Anonymous said...

1. How many clerks do SJC justices hire?
2. Has Chief Justice Marshall hired yet? Is she finished with interviews?

Got a call from Justice Cordy today for an interview.

Cordy & Cowin have called. They go in seniority. Anyone know the order?

Anonymous said...

Seniority I believe is:

1.) Marshall
2.) Greaney
3.) Ireland
T4.) Spina
T4.) Cowin
6.) Cordy
7.) Botsford

Has anyone heard from any of the MA state courts since the last post? It being October 1st I was hopeful that maybe I would hear something today...

Anonymous said...

It looks like Justice Botsford is the only one left. Any word from her?

Has anyone heard anything from the Appeals or Superior Court?

Anonymous said...

Hi everyone: I'm thinking that if I haven't gotten a call from the SJC by now, I'm not getting one. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Anonymous said...

Justice Cordy is interviewing today and tomorrow and should make offers by the end of the week. I think Justice Botsford will make calls after that.

Have first round interviews for the Appeals Court started?

Anonymous said...

Today is October 10.

Has anyone who applied for a Mass. Super. Ct. clerkship for Western Mass gotten called for an interview? I know at least one person who requested Eastern mass has an interview next week. Does anyone know if they stagger the interviews based on geographic preference?

SJC updates?

Botsford has hired.

Any word on Appeals Court?

Anonymous said...

Anybody know how many Superior Court clerks are being hired for Western MA?

Anonymous said...

So should I be worried the interview lasted less than 20 minutes?

Anonymous said...

My interview lasted less than 20 minutes and I am worried.

Anonymous said...

Which court did you interview with, 1:33?

Anonymous said...

11:55 here, I interview in Northampton.

Anonymous said...

1:33 here. I too interviewed in Northampton.

Anonymous said...

Well at least I know someone else had a short interview.

Just curious, how many WNEC students interviewed?

I got the impression 5-6 will be hired. That seem correct?

Anonymous said...

Is it safe to assume that the Appeals Court has finished hiring?

Anonymous said...

Anyone hear anything yet from the Superior Ct?

Anonymous said...

Haven't heard anything yet. Don't know if that's good or bad.

Anonymous said...

appeals court has hired, and superior court (eastern division) is making offers.

Anonymous said...

So when can we expect the Western Division to begin making offers?

Anonymous said...

Western Division is making offers.

Has anyone gotten a rejection from the Superior Court yet? I am worried I am got getting the job but have nothing to confirm either way.
