I think you should send them asap. I heard they accept around the same time as federal hiring plan judges.

do you know the status of the other chancellors?

Chancellor Chandler has definitely hired one, but he's still looking for number two. He should be going through the end of September. I think most of the other Vice Chancellors still have spots.

Anyone have any updates?

Does anyone have any information on how Chancery Court clerkships stack up against the Federal ones in terms of prestige value?

For prestige, I think it depends which federal clerkship you're looking at. Chancery court is certainly really good experience with business litigation, and clerks from there can get V10 and V5 offers.

Does anyone know how the application process works? There is no info on the website...

...For the DE Chancery Court.

There are former chancery clerks at Wachtell (V1), Cravath (V2), S&C (V3), Skadden (V4), Simpson (V6), Latham (V9) and pretty much anywhere else they wanted to go.

A chancery clerkship has more prestige than anything short of a feeder COA clerkship.

It does attract a different type of clerk: business types--although there are serveral professors who are ex-chancery.

Great experience and great opportunity.

I am interested to knowing how to apply to these clerkships. Does it parallel federal clerkships? When did you apply? When did you interview? What was the interview like? How was the interview different from federal clerkship interviews? When did you start hearing about hiring decisions? Did your firm give you the clerkship bonus even though it is technically a state court?

You apply by sending your resume in paper format. Technically they try to stay on the federal system, but because some of them teach, they have contacts with students before the deadline (for example, VC Strine teaches at Penn and HLS, Chancellor Chandler teaches as well). I applied in line with the federal guidelines, but the Chancellors were aware that I would be applying. I interviewed about with the federal guidelines. Some of the interviews were substantive, which is different than federal from what I understand. I heard about decisions pretty soon after the interview. Every firm that is worth working for treats chancery as well or better than federal court so you get the maximum bonus for a one year clerkship.

Good luck! There are only 10 clerkships (two per chancellor).
