Anyone hear from the Appellate Court yet?

Hi-- has anyone heard from the CT Supreme Court?

Anonymous said...

Word is Zarella and Katz have hired already; Vertefeuille made her calls and interviews; Norcott made at least one call; the Chief is not hiring

I heard that Norcott made all his calls, interviews are next Wednesday.

Palmer and Schaller are the only ones who haven't made calls and scheduled (or conducted) interviews...

Anonymous said...

Palmer made his calls so Schaller is the only one left...

Anonymous said...

Schaller is piggybacking interviews on interviews of the other justices - no word on whether he is making calls...

Schaller said the Appellate Court will begin interviews in the first week of October ... I imagine they'll start calling shortly before then.

Anyone know if the App. Ct. calls or emails to set up interviews?

Any word on when interviews for the Superior Court will be made?

I got an email today offering me a second interview for the CT Superior Court. So I'd guess they are making them now.

Anyone know whether Superior Court interviews are with a Judge or are they just with the research director....

Thanks!

Your interview will be with the legal research director and probably also a legal research supervisor. No judges.

did u hear about superior by phone or letter?

Anonymous said...

does anyone know the process for assigning start dates and locations once we accept positions with the superior court?

From what I understand,

They will send us a letter requesting we circle our requested start date (Aug, Sep, Oct?)and then we will train in New Haven for two weeks after our start date.

After the training, they will determine where we clerk based on our living situation and interests. I think they will try to limit our commute to 1 hour.

Hope this helps!
